In Her Dream is a multidisciplinary and intercultural performance, with broken storytelling and confused visual associations. The piece is inspired by the story of a woman’s impact on forcing the Korean government to draft new laws against domestic violence.
The piece uses two stages as two distinct settings as a crossover between a real and a fictional time-space. Baroque aesthetics are applied to add a unique hyperbolic expression, and choreography reflecting on the frontline protests in women’s movements.
