Six texts presented as samples of embroidery in decorative, antique style frames. The texts are taken from interviews conducted by the artist: prostitutes, divorced women and a male prisoner. These ‘voices’ are embroidered and presented as an alternative to the official ‘word of God’ when they were installed in the space of a church. The artwork and the church site reciprocally challenge and problematise each other.
